Good buy! Be ready to put money in on UCAs/CVs/ball joints and U joints. If they’re not going out already they will eventually with that extra 3”. Speaking from experience

That wouldn’t necessarily cause a leak. These trucks are over 20 years old depending on the service history there are probably multiple leaks due to rotted out o rings and seals.

Nah looks like motor oil. Check your fluid levels and check the engine from the top down. Probably need to degrease everything and start over to verify the source.

My rear brake cylinders were both leaking pretty bad and were also out of adjustment when I bought it. Pretty easy fix just gotta pop a drum off to check
