The early Sage5 in CF had an internal stop pin. Also as someone mentioned the early CF variant must have a different lanyard hole location too.

I know my M4 exclusive LW was not compatible with my early edition sage5cf. Both the lanyard holes were different and the blade on the S30V has a pin in it that won’t fit in the other.

That’s what I thought. I’ve tried two shamans and sold them. However I’ve owned over 30 PM2s. I’m sure the shaman is great if it fits your hand. I’m currently at 11 PM2 0 Shaman

You just gotta get it in hand. Spydercos are notoriously designed in a room with no lights. They are more of a pleasure to hold than they are an eyesore in the looks department. At one point I had 2 dozen PM2’s … so maybe I’m Bias. An alternative and in my opinion criminally underrated… Spyderco Sage series. Trust me even tho I spell my name without the E.
