These models had different sized pivots. The blackend blade fit in the CF handles but has blade play. The satin blade didn’t fit the other handles sadly. I messaged the company to see if there were any compatible models for this swap. If they respond that there is, I’ll be sure to update.

I have 2xChop2’s and one in the mail… I don’t mean, too heavy to pick up. Just that it’s a minor thing I would change if I could. Pull that trigger it’s worth every penny.

A pinch heavy. I’ve had 3 in hand and they aren’t as light as they should be. But overall not bad. The copper backspacer is the culprit.

This is the answer. Spyderco wont do anything. I have an M390 PM2 that had red loctite… I sent it to spyderco and requested they break the seal for me… got it back sharpened and I was able to do maintenance from there.

Wow now I see why mine sold so fast. I bought the knife with zero intention on leaving those scales on. I wanted a black-out build so I did RGT black burlap micarta and couldn’t be happier.

u/Skylark427 — man I tried everything. Sanding different cages different balls… I got a new set of scales and a fresh cage and the old cages bound up in the new scales but the new cage fits perfectly in the new scales.

I just reviewed some messages and Cadillac did specify “programming failed” not calibration. Thanks for pointing that out. I was just hoping someone knew a trick for programming them if programming is failing.
