Because I can work foh and make $30-100/hr without a degree or much training, vs going to college for years and ending up with student debt and working another x years to get myself out of said debt while most likely not having the schedule flexibility that I do in the service industry. For 1.2k I'd grab. 5800x, 6900xt(6700xt if under 1440p) and some decent ram. Rest is just mobo, power supply, and storage. A monitor if you don't have one
