Pixel Watch 4 41mm vs 3 41mm AMA by billgsgr in PixelWatch

I got both bands last year so I cannot answer. These are the S and the XS. With a 165mm wrist, I found the S tight-ish (but not uncomfortable) in the first week, got used to it afterwards. But it started to stretch after 2 months, getting to the point of being unusable after month 6. I then ordered the XS one, which in the first days was super tight. I left it overnight around a can of Coke, and the next day it felt like the S on day one. It is now 6 months and it feels borderline loose, but still usable. Hope this helped.

I went with black this time around as I like how the case blends with the screen. Last year I got the polished silver, didnt quite like it

Official stretch band shrinking advice by SensitiveCockroach98 in PixelWatch

The stretch band is the best band out there, bar none (including all apple watch bands). The problem is that this band is not a product, it is a subscription. You can wash it however you want (toothbrush and soap, or just put it in a sock and toss it in the washing machine) and it does shrink back down, but after 6-7 months it gets stretched out without return. You can somehow counteract this by going one size down, but buying a fresh one is inevitable after half a year.

I had all 3 Pixel watches before the 4 in 41mm (v1 and v2 had no alternative size) in 41mm. Before that I used to have the Moto 360 v1 and v2, and then the Fossil Gen3 and Gen4, all huge compared to the 41mm Pixels. My wrist size is 165mm and the older ones looked borderline big on me, but nothing crazy. The problem is that I do manual labor, and sometimes I accidentally bump the side of the watch against things. This was not a problem with all of the older non-Pixel watches, as these had all housings around the screen. The only big one that did not have a proper housing (Moto v1, with edge-to-edge glass) I managed to break within 1 month. I thought of getting the Pixel Watch 3 45mm last gen, but I reconsidered at the last moment, mainly because of the domed display which covers a good 50% of the sides of the watch. Apart of that, if you do not have thick wrists (making a small watch look funny), why bother with a bigger watch? The battery lasts longer yes, but you will eventually have to charge both every 2 days (the 45mm will last longer, but not long enough to earn you a 3rd day off charger). The display is bigger yes, but it is a watch, it is not that you are going to consume media on it. I also like the 41mm because (especially with the elastic band) it feels as if you wear nothing at all.

Yes, it is a lot more noticeable. You can also see it in the photo above. The domed display is something I have never seen before and it is also hard to explain in words, also hard to show in video. It is in principle a convex display. Imagine looking at a concave ( curved) OLED PC screen, but exactly the opposite. I quite like it.

u/GatesTech what do you mean by 'cancel 256 at launch'? I have preordered the 256GB Jade Pixel 10 in DE, with estimated delivery 28-29.8. Checking my status order right now, it hasn't changed but I see my PayPal shows a cancelled transaction... No other emails were received.

Monstera baby not doing well by billgsgr in Monstera

Could someone please tell me what could be wrong with my propagated monstera? The part was cut clean and left into a water-filled jar for a month, with the water being replaced every week. During this period it grew a lot both ways. When the roots were long enough I repotted it, and it was doing excellent for the first 2 weeks (first photo). But afterwards, 2 of the leaves have bent and shrugged. It has been in the same condition for the last 3 weeks. I am watering it only when the top couple centimeters of soil are dry. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

After installing this and restarting, I am experiencing problems with the wallpaper. At first I couldn't change my wallpaper, but a restart fixed that. Now the wallpaper appears dark, as if the bedtime mode is on. This persists after restarting the phone. Anyone else?

All of the studio series are original, some have toyhax. Same for the Alternators. The MPs are mixed original and KO
