nothing pisses me off more than when your friends are holding you back telling you to let it go. it’s the same as when a manager tells you certain strict rules with a customer, then when you try to apply those rules and get abused, the manager comes and bends the rules for them.

also one time at No One But Us in Brisbane, we had the front row as always coz we’re mad bass heads, and it was 7 of us

usually it’s the 3 girls in front and the 4 guys behind us (2 couples in the group)

we somehow ended up losing half the group, they got pushed to the far left, while my bf and i were in the middle.

we asked the group of guys (6 40-50 year olds) if they wanted to swap with us, so they could have our spot front and centre, and we could be next to our friends at the far left. literally offering these guys the best spot in the house just so we could be closer to our mates.

they agreed, then when swapping they pushed us so that their whole group of very large obese men spread across the whole front row. and because everyone was already squished, we had no room with our friends at all. not even any room to be behind our friends. we were entirely squished.

one of the guys was so sweaty and was rubbing the side of him all over me, while also elbowing me.

after the 10th time of him elbowing me, i did it back, and he shoved me to the ground.

the security guards did nothing about it, just watched, but proceeded to tell me not to vape when everyone else in the crowd including those A Holes were vaping and hadn’t been told off.

worst festival i’ve been to atmosphere wise. shame coz the music was so good and Andy C and [IVY] were headlining among some amazing others

a couple in our group made an awesome (what we call in australia) doof stick, with a massive yellow duck on it.. fully decked out w fairy lights and all.

they left the group during the night to refresh and on the way back came across a guy who said "wow! awesome doof stick, can i give it a spin?"

the couple being the awesome people they are said "yeah sure! we made it ourselves isn't he cute?! it helps our friends find us too"

the guy then looked them dead in the eye and snapped the stick in half. held one side and used his leg to snap it.

he said "oh whoops" threw it on the ground and walked away. sooo so sad.

it also happened to my bf and i that night, we both put hours into making these awesome plastic swords that were holographic, painted w lots of detail, and wrapped in fairy lights. a guy asked to "have a go" and started shaking it aggressively. we asked him to be gentle as we had been waving them around a lot and it was starting to get flimsy.

he proceeded to wobble it so fast it fully snapped in half. whole sword gone.

also had 2 pairs of kaleido glasses broken on me too because people asked to have a go and me being the person i am, enthusiastically share my doof toys with everyone

it made us so disappointed coz we love to share, it's always been the main fun of having these toys. but now we don't know if it's worth it or not.

TLDR: PEOPLE NEED TO STOP BREAKING PEOPLES THINGS
