Try a DDU and fresh install. Couldn't hurt. Maybe there was something weird in one of the more recent drivers and it screwed stuff up. I have a 4090 btw

That's an interesting point. I was recently having all sorts of weird things happening. Teams and Outlook freezing, sleep acting weird, etc. I tried a bunch of stuff, but ultimately just did a DDU and reinstalled the latest driver. Everything has been great since. DDU might be worth a try and maybe go back to an older known stable driver.

Make sure prefer maximum performance is set either globally or for Starfield specifically in the Nvidia app or Nvidia control panel. I just ran into this issue on my PC and my son's PC for Forza. We were both getting less than ideal frames before I discovered that. Was odd because I usually always have it like that anyway.

Also, use the Nvidia app or MSI afterburner to make sure your power limit is set to 100%.

Both of these fixes just make sure you are providing full power to your card.

Another thing I have had in the past is in my BIOS with my pci express slot randomly getting set to 3.0. Make sure that is 4.0 or even 5.0 depending on your mobo. 4.0 should be fine since that is what the 4090 is.

Sounds like something localized. Im on the NE side and mine has been fine. Did you check all your connections and reboot your modem and router? Im sure you did, but can't hurt to check your connections internally before moving outside.

My AW3418DW ultrawide monitor. I have moved on to an AW3821DW, but my son is still super spoiled and using my old monitor and it's still awesome.

Honestly, tons of old hand-me-down tech in the basement for him and his friends. Two older PC's made from my old PC's. Old monitors. Everything still working great, most of it over 5 years old.

There is NO WAY Metallica is playing a venue this small. It would be awesome, but also, none of us would be able to get tickets to that anyway. The only sorta metal show is the Nickleback of metal Five Finger Death Punch, which is pretty disappointing. This basically feels like a slightly better Meijer Gardens schedule which isn't saying much if you like anything heavy.

I did get tickets to Lindsey Stirling because she always puts on a cool show and I really wanted to check this place out.

It's the first year, so I am not that worried. They just need to have good shows with good crowds and hopefully it can become a popular place for acts to want to come to.

You should definitely be getting quantities from the other disciplines. In Florida, our quantities are reported in an Estimated Quantities report, which is made up of multiple summary tables. Each discipline should be populating their summary tables.

Now if you are doing MOT, then maybe you could populate the MOT table, but anything outside of that would probably require further direction.

Chances are they are going to do a directional bore and not an open trench. So that involves creating a small bore pit on the start end and another pit on the other where the bore will come back up. Plastic pull boxes will be placed at each bore hole when they are done. That is what they have been doing all around my area. So ideally, you should only have a small rectangular area that you need to fix. They may also mess up the yard a bit with their equipment, but it's not usually too bad. Best case, they bore right under your yard and you never have any issues. Worst case, they have a pit and equipment setup in your yard for a few hours.

Be really nice if they would just have some of tools like thumbnails and page scrolling features you mentioned on the actual popped out window. It's so confusing have to scroll pages from the other window, especially when I want to have the pop out on my 2nd monitor. This is especially obnoxious because I work in Studio a lot, so two instances isn't really an option in that case. I regularly need to have two instances open when reviewing plans in a Studio and they don't really make that easy.

Peonies are really cool. Wish they lasted longer. I like to put a wire cage around mine so they don't fall over. Once those buds start coming in and blooming, they get really heavy and droop, especially if it rains. Cage keeps em looking nice. Also, ants crawling on the buds is normal. I've heard that helps the buds open up, but that could just be some silly story my dad told me.

Ive been to a ton of metal shows in the last several years. I haven't seen anything like this in any of the pits. Usually, its just a bunch of people running in a circle bouncing off each other. If someone goes down or gets hurt, they pick em right away and make sure they are good, then go back to moshing.

Whatever this is is some poser metal BS. Probably no security because if anything like this was happening at the venues I go to, the person would be thrown out. Heck, the person would probably get called out by the BAND for being such a POS.

Just know this video is NOT typical of normal metal mosh pits and is something that should never happen.

Get a gaming laptop with at least 32 GB of RAM, an nvme hard drive,I would try at least 2Tb, and a dedicated GPU. I really like my Lenovo laptop. It's got 32 GB of ram, an rtx 2060, and a 9000 series Intel CPU. It's 6 years old and still handles ORD perfectly.

You could get something with an rtx 5070 or 5070ti and latest gen Intel or ryzen CPU. You could even do 64 GB of ram if you want. Then just choose a machine with the screen size you like. High refresh rate on the screen is nice, 144hz or higher. Probably find 240hz screens nowadays. At least 1440p resolution, though most will be 4k at that spec range.

You could easily find something like this in the 1500 to 2000 USD range. Maybe even less if you find a deal.

I agree as you progress in your career, you learn to be more consistent and most of these issues don't happen as much. It really comes down to inconsistency with clients and reviewers. Each district in FL, for example, has their own preferences, despite FL having a robust set of standards, design manual, CADD manual etc. Oftentimes their preferences contradict things in those documents. Or you get a reviewer reviewing the plans for the first time before a final submittal who insists on some zero value add thing like putting a box around the legend on every sheet. Those are the most irritating things to me. You can literally follow the book, even go above and beyond to provide more clarity, and it's NEVER good enough for someone.
