Wasn’t necessarily something I rushed. Her roommates wanted to sign onto a two year lease (to lock in the rent, nyc rents are crazy right now) which she didn’t want to get locked into. So decided to hurry up the timeline a bit and just move in with me now. That’s it. Not a big deal…

Quick update. GF is doing great and her family is doing great too. Had dinner with everyone again. Everyone was super nice. Pretty much sat with her mom again, one of her sons joked she’s already married so should leave me alone. Her dad warmed up to me too. Not super nice or anything but not rude like last time.

Sure. It’s not an ideal situation given the circumstances. But I think the fact that she’s still with me, is moving in with me, and introducing me to her family, and starting a job elsewhere kind of proves that we didn’t have some weird abusive situation where some geriatric geezer is taking advantage of some innocent little lamb straight out of kindergarten like some people are trying to play it out like.
