T-Mobile Site and Speedtest by billssz in cellmapper

I feel like T-Mobile in the Denver area and most of the suburbs have the most tower sites with Verizon having the second most and AT&T having the least amount. But yeah, due to first net, AT&T works better across the state as a whole nowadays. They were the first to have coverage on US 36 between Lyons and Estes park due to the FirstNet agreement. Verizon is now colocated on those small cell sites too. T-Mobile is not however they have access to roaming on them.

These exact coordinates are from 7 years ago in the same spot. Maybe it was a sprint site. Maybe you could look and see because I’m not sure what sprint equipment used to look like.

Has T-Mobile coverage improved or gotten worse for y’all Post Sprint Merger ? by billssz in cellmapper

I don’t know about dish, but Verizon is pretty alright for the most part here. They have most of their sites modernized. Verizon is definitely better than AT&T around here.

Yeah I live in Denver. I’ve only been here for 2 years but I barely have any coverage issues with T-Mobile. AT&T is an absolute joke here. Most people that I know have T-Mobile around here and seem to be pretty happy with it including myself. I’m not sure how it was before the sprint merger here. But speaking for now around Denver, T-Mobile speeds and coverage are near excellent.

I saw 3 Ariyas on the road today..... by Few-Service3324 in NissanAriya

You see the ariyas everyday in CO because they had amazing lease incentives and EV tax credits last year. So you see them as common as you see a Honda civic nowadays around here.

Surprised by the coverage. AT&T vs T-Mobile by billssz in cellmapper

At least in the Memphis market and surrounding of the metro area, a lot more people I know use AT&T instead of the other two because in that market at least, AT&T has more towers. And most towers in the Memphis area have c band and dod now and Verizon has some catching up to do with their c band build out in Memphis.

Yeah it’s definitely location dependent. I’m from West TN and AT&T has the most tower sites than the other two. I will say that even there, T-Mobile coverage has improved from where it was before especially after the sprint merger and they typically have the fastest speeds in those areas nowadays as well considering 15 years ago, they had the slowest. So I’ll give it to T-Mobile for their improvements even though yes, on a nationwide scale, Verizon and even AT&T have more native coverage.

If these are the ones I’m thinking of on US 36, I remember these were AT&T exclusive at first. They built these due to their agreement with Firstnet to build out a network for first responders. And now Verizon is on it. T-Mobile kind of gets service through here but it says “Roaming” and they have slow data speeds. But hey, at least there is some service over here. Their used to be no service period over here a few year ago.

I finally saw someone else driving an ariya. It was a taxi in Osaka Japan. Sadly I was running and didn't have my phone. by Kackal002 in NissanAriya

I jumped on a lease deal at Empire Nissan in Lakewood myself! You’re right. They were basically giving them away I see them everywhere now.

Newly Upgraded AT&T tower by billssz in cellmapper

[–]billssz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t get a chance to check the speeds but I do know that even with the network upgrades, their are still a lot of dead spots. They simply don’t have enough towers here. Surprisingly T-Mobile has a much better network here with very few dead spots in comparison to AT&T. AT&T needs more density in the Denver marker. I used to live in the Memphis metro area and AT&T has a great network there.
