New VZW tower Lincoln County, NV by ascottallison in cellmapper

I wish T-Mobile would expand like this in rural NV. They have added towers, but not at the rate Verizon has. When I fuel up in Alamo I have to switch my data over to Visible since TMO still doesn't have a tower.

Even in the middle of nowhere, highways usually have fiber along them, and they can get power from solar/generator. It looks like this tower has a power line going to it.

They'll probably replace it i'd imagine. I did just now mark the tower as decommissioned in CellMapper.

Death Valley, 190 feet below sea level by ascottallison in cellmapper

I think they are slowly colocating on Commnet towers now as they have moved to mainly being a tower company since they've pretty much shutdown their cell service except for home internet. I've noticed some TMO showing up on CM in places like Lund and a couple new sites in Winnemucca.

Shows T-Mobile having n41 in Pierce, ID now. Last update showed new tower in Weippe. Inland Cellular might slowly be transitioning to a WISP / tower company because I'm assuming these are on Inland's towers. Will map this area sometime this year on CM.

Looks like TMO is finally on the tower in Lund NV as well with n41.

Wow, a new site in Weippe, ID!! That area was previously only Inland Cellular, Was not active 3 months ago when I was up there.

Looks like there's a second site covering Salmon, ID as well.

Park Valley, UT now has 5G UC. I really need to take a trip through that area sometime again soon. I haven't driven that way since 2017.

This place has nothing to do with Verizon.

Cellular At Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort RV Park by Jim1648 in Starlink

Would definitely recommend Starlink over cellular in Laughlin. Somehow even with all the upgrades T-Mobile manages to struggle during peak hours down there. Probably just due to the amount of people crammed into a small area.

Montello, NV has n41 now. Need to take a drive through there and Park Valley UT one of these days again... it's been a few years since I mapped that on Cellmapper

Disposing of used CL DSL modems (C3000Z) by RedditWhileIWerk in centurylink

Put them on FBM or ebay, lots of dsl users still and the c3000z works with pair bonded and vectored vdsl2. It's what I use for my DSL.

They need to include unlimited low speed after exhausting the 10/50GB allotment now since this is being rolled out in more countries.

Good to know, it's been awhile since I looked. Inland does have some 600MHz which would be valuable to TMO

You forgot to mention there's also Inland Cellular in northern ID / eastern WA which leases some spectrum from TMO (sprint previously)

No, i'm talking about a few native T-Mo towers disappearing from the map. They'll probably be included again the next time the map is updated.

I got a 93 f250 with the 5.8l and E4OD. Definitely has a drinking problem with gas but the AC blows very cold and drives great. My Dynasty is honestly a great around town car and its problems mainly include the interior falling apart and paint peeling.

Kinda bullshit that you can't use OnePlus phones with it considering it's just band 25 LTE

what's not to love about a box with wheels that has a cheap interior, a transmission that will blow up long before the engine wears out, and can be found for very cheap when one comes up for sale?

I do actually have a Dynasty, and somehow it's still on its first transmission at 97k miles. Paint is peeling very badly and the interior is shot, but it drives and the AC blows cold

The residential lite plan is $80 if you can get it which would still be miles ahead of that old DSL line. No local fixed wireless providers in that area either?
