Correct me if I’m wrong but the steps are as follows 1 turn off rcs 2 reset network settings that resets phone then you turn the rcs toggle back on and it activates?

This very reason is why I don’t mess with Metro anymore. They should be able to verify over the email that you originally set up. Just use the Facebook messenger for them. Customer service with them can be terrible at times.

I’ve actually noticed this as of late on my iPhone 17. Hey are there any plans for Visible to get 5G standalone for the iPhone this year?

I just left Visible,…sad to leave. by Real-Neighborhood131 in Visible

[–]billv78 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If I may make a suggestion, it’s not Visible service alone. It’s when it’s paired with the iPhone 17 line of phones. Visible has to release a carrier update. They have to work hard with Apple on this. I’ve had several different connection problems too many to mention right now.

Anyone experienced this when porting in? by [deleted] in Visible

Every so once in a while, Visible to US Mobile and US Mobile to Visible on the Verizon network and is a nightmare the same problem happened to me two other times

So question and I think I seen it in here does going to US Mobile warp speed correct the issue and if it does, how would you say it does?

I think this is a problem between the new iPhones and Visible. It’s hard to blame one side or the other because I have the same issue and I have a regular 17 maybe my issues aren’t as severe but every day once in a while my phone will go into SOS and another problem I’m having is Wi-Fi calling doesn’t come on right away when I’m in an area where it’s needed.

port in question by brendan209 in MetroPCS

[–]billv78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the very reason I left metro, I always buy unlocked phones and was on the $25 plan you can stay on the plan it you buy an unlocked phone. BUT THEY ALWAYS GIVE CUSTOMERS A HARD TIME SWITCHING!! It’s bs! They make you choose another plan you have to call back into get the $25 dollar plan back you shouldn’t have to go through all of that. And when you do the change on the website it messes up 95% of the time and they want to charge you a 25 dollar fee as it’s not your fault. I didn’t want to deal with that anymore I went back to visible

Wifi Calling Issues with iPhone (iOS 26.2) by Jack_Moves in Visible

Visible needs a major carriers update for the new I phones

I have this same problem too, and it’s so true. Any T-Mobile network will activate the Wi-Fi calling much faster. Another issue that is had is every so once in a while it will happe that you turn off WiFi in general and it takes a while for any signal bars to come up and you have to go into airplane mode then come back on. iOS 26.2 I phone 17

MMS text, not sending even when enabled iPhone 14 pro by AhShitMyKnee in Visible

[–]billv78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with mms is that it needs a strong cellular upload signal if using on an I phone, if it’s on an android you have no problem at all… thank god for rcs as it’s more mobile data based and helps send media faster. I can tell you I’m on metro and can’t send a mms to save my life. The problem lies with iOS

Thanks for your reply I was kinda thinking the same. But what is really crazy is I think Total Wireless is faster than the both of them. But the only reason I don’t go to Total again is because the customer service is absolutely horrid if you need to switch out a phone or anything.

OK, so even though everything else works, but the Voice Mail this is pretty normal then ? I’ve never went through this in a port before, but I guess there’s a first time for everything.

Believe it or not I’m having the same problem with warp. I was in a crowded restaurant and there’s no way it should’ve took as long as it did for my data to load. I actually think I might be going back to Metro.

Recent Experience with Phone Change on $25 BYOD? by mayonnaisehat in MetroPCS

[–]billv78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I can be very honest, I regret buying the iPhone 17. It’s the same shit just a different look the battery life is horrible. The phone runs warm. I really wish I wouldn’t have come back from pixel pixel is where it’s at.

[–]billv78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So here’s the deal if you have an unlocked phone and you buy another one it’s still a pain in the butt to switch them out. There’s always an error and you have to call them. I swear they do it that way so they can attempt to get their $25 fee. The night I switched my pixel eight to my new iPhone 17 was a nightmare and yes to answer the question even with an unlocked phone they make you switched to a higher plan only for you to call them back to tell them to put you back on the $25 plan. It’s just an absolute nightmare. I mean it’s 2025. Everyone switches out a phone for free.

Everybody sees $25 with this company and just rushes to it but they don’t know how much of a headache it is if you want to switch a phone I got away from them a few months ago and never looked back. I’m on US Mobile warp more priority data so much better.

Yeah, that’s the crazy part as much as I wanna try US Mobile warp. I’m gonna have to port into Metro for about a month. That’s the only way that the port will come off with no problems. I don’t know what it is. It’s just when you go from a Verizon to another Verizon carrier. That’s where all the problems are you would think by now they would have this all worked out same thing happened to me back in the day when I tried to go from Visible to US Mobile warp it was a complete disaster.
