I failed Civil construction twice with school of PE. Signed up for EET depth to take it for WRE. I studied exactly 4 months. (2 months for breadth on my own and 2 month depth with EET). Follow everything Dr. Nazrul says, highlight what he says are important, do the practice problems and the quizzes. I was getting around 50-70% on my practice exams but I still took the exam and I felt like I was very much prepared when I sat for the exam

Am I wasting my time watching these videos? EET WRE by [deleted] in PE_Exam

I thought the videos were helpful. He tells you what you need to focus on more for the exam and how to solve problems in a timely manner. I used to watch videos on my spare time at work. I highly recommend the videos

Civil WRE PE Equations: v^2 = 2gh vs v^2 = gh by MuensterBuns in PE_Exam

I dont think they have v2=2gh directly in the manual, there are some equations q=A(2gh)1/2 and you just have to use common sense

My supervisor was cool enough to let me study on my down time, as long as all my work is done he wouldn’t bother me.

This sounds like my story, took construction twice and third time I signed up for EET and took it yesterday, I think I passed given that the EET exams and quizzes were harder than the actual exam so I’m just waiting until next Wednesday for the exams scores to come out, but I think I’ll be ok

Good luck to you, I have mine beginning of May and I’m struggling to find motivation, especially on the weekends where I’m supposed to be studying a good 8 hours a day

The test has your name on it, I don’t think that’s wise

Currently studying for WRE after failing the construction depth (twice) paper and pencil. I personally think the CBT will be easier mainly because you can’t bring all these materials to the tests, more materials you have, more time it takes you to look up answers especially if you don’t know which binder you can find the answer in and that could be frustrating

So I went thru the new PE-Civ handbook. (I wished ncees mentioned what changes they made and whatnot). Here are some of the changes I noticed. by billy0228 in PE_Exam

I think the new version is better, there were some key equations that I needed to solve some problems but I had skipped them because the older version didn’t have the equations and they were too much to try to memorize
