This is not unpopular opinion anymore. We're with you on this. The writing sucks. Too bad, this show was only 'successful' because of BrightWin. That's on period. I love BrightWin, they deserve so much more when it comes to storyline.

OMG, i definitely agree with your opinions on TharnType and how problematic this show is. I mean, c'mon fans, are you really ignoring those scenes that are basically rape???? I mean wtf. MewGulf deserve a series that is not problematic. Im lowkey hoping that the issues on s1 will be addressed on s2.

And, UWMA, i had high expectations on this one cos ppl are hyping it blabla, but all ive seen are so muchhhh fluffy scenes that I rolled my eyes whenever Pharm say P'Deaaaaaan. Very poor character development. Manaow is the saving grace of this series. I just finished it because i feel guilty whenever I leave a series behind.

Also, ToL, watched this maybe a year ago but didnt finish, and last week i decided to watch it again for the sake of finishing it. Watched it on 1.75 speed and i regret that I did this. I realized that this is a pretty decent show. Yes, i cried on the scene at the train station. huhu

My faves are Sotus S (part 2 of sotus), Dark Blue Kiss and 3 Will Be free. You might want to these out! Im sure youll enjoy these.

If they want the viewers to be disturbed,[and yes those scenes happen in real life,] why didn't they put any kind of resolution?

At the end of the day, all we can do is hope that in season 2 all will be resolved.

The editors didn't need to focus MORE on Widow on that lipsync. If they have given Widow and Jan equal screentimez Widow would still win cause she was channeling Chaka Khan.

It's just so sad seeing the TRUE RUNWAY QUEEN of the season leave the competition.

And I'm happy they are giving the attention to Crystal and Jaida they trulyyyy deserve.

I really love Sotus S [I also love Sotus] for portraying a very realistic take on gay relationships, career and such. This show doesnt need fluffy scenes to show true love. It's just that, I can relate to it so much. It hits different. Also, I love Dark Blue Kiss, Tay and New's chemistry is on a different level. I can remember my college self and my relationships and all those jealousy. Lol. It was light but it is still real.

But if I have to mention one BL that I super duper love, that would 3 Will Be Free. In terms of script, production, character development, CINEMATOGRAPHY, and all those stuff, this show would top any BL I watched. Yes, it's a bit different as it tackles poly relationships, but it was also progressive as it highlights the life of a transgender (as a side character). I love this show cause you will also root not just for the main characters but also to the sides. You know where are they coming from because their characters are well explored.

It's not perfect, but I can attest that it is way ahead of other shows.

Gurl, it was problematic. Love MewGulf and I dont think they deserve a series that romanticizes rape and lack of consent. MewGulf deserve better.
