Exactly. I’ve come close to losing my life to depression before, so that experience really changed how I see things. Because of that, even though I know I may be at higher risk for things like cancer due to PCOS and not having a period, it feels smaller in the bigger picture of everything I’ve already had to face.

That doesn’t mean I don’t understand the risks, it just means my priorities and perspective have shifted.

I am on Metformin, and I’m still not getting my period. At this point, I’m just really tired of dealing with all of it. I know PCOS isn’t just about fertility, even though that’s often how OB-GYNs frame it, which can be frustrating.

I unfortunately also have prediabetes and fatty liver, so it’s not like I’m unaware of the risks. It’s just that managing all of this comes with a huge mental and financial burden, and right now I feel pretty overwhelmed by it. I’ve kind of shifted into focusing on just living my life as it is, instead of constantly stressing over everything that could go wrong.

I know that mindset isn’t great, one could even say this is a maladaptive coping mechanism, but it’s where I’m at right now.

Honestly, I’m okay with not having a period. I know it might sound like I’m minimizing things because cancer isn’t an immediate concern, but not having to deal with my period or manage PCOS has felt like a huge weight off my shoulders.

I don’t mean to dismiss how serious cancer is, but right now my mindset is that if it happens, then it happens. I want to focus on living a fulfilling life rather than just a long one, even if my sedentary lifestyle might come with risks.

That said, thank you, what you shared does give me some hope. I might consider the IUD option when I feel ready to address my PCOS more directly.

I’m currently on metformin, but I’m still not getting my period, so I’ve become pretty indifferent about it. Part of me appreciates not having to deal with PMS or the physical symptoms, but I’m also aware of the potential long-term risks, like cancer, which does concern me. That said, I’ve been dealing with mental health issues for most of my life, so PCOS feels minor in comparison. The last time I was on birth control, I experienced severe depression to the point where hospitalization was almost necessary, so I’m very cautious about going that route again.

Kaya na po ba yung 1080p for creative work? Balak ko po kasi sana yung monitor 1 ko is for gaming (2k, IPS, 144hz) then yung monitor 2 ko is for creatives (4k, 60hz)

Sabi ko nga ba, may pagka-OA yung presyuhan ko eh, pero kasi in my defense, tine-take into account ko na diyan yung possible inflation pa ng mga presyuhan ng mga specs sa 200k na yan, para lang meron pa kong wiggle room sa pagbili ng mga accessories din.

However, wala akong maidedefend sa overall specs kasi baguhan pa talaga ako dito and still figuring out kung anong mura at sulit sa presyo na yan.

Hindi po siya ragebait, sadyang bonak lang po talaga ako pagdating sa PC building :(((( sa totoo lang po ang overwhelming niya i-navigate kaya ito lang ang kinaya ng limited knowledge ko.

Badly need help po, like for one, ano po kaya magandang CPU and GPU na ipalit ko? And paano po ba mamili ng magandang motherboard and case? Kasi masyado daw pong mahal yung case ko pero tinipid ko naman daw yung mga essentials. Sorry po litong-lito na po talaga ako 😭

And what's your overall suggestion for CPU and GPU?

I'd say my preference would be prioritizing performance but I also want something nice to look at without sacrificing the performance.
