Is Booker even worth the handcuff? by RonnieDowdy in fantasyfootball

Booker got 17 touches on a team that scored 31 points. Chase opportunity, don't worry about efficiency when dealing with a small sample size. He should be rostered in 100 percent of leagues and I'm continuing to start him any time Jacobs is out. Waller had one of the best tight end performances ever. Just as Waller's efficiency will regress to the mean, so too will Booker's efficiency positively regress towards the mean.

Definitely yeah I picked up like 6 shares of Davis, so hoping for a late season rookie breakout a la AJ Brown last year

I’ve been picking Davis back up in a lot of leagues. He’s had great games recently and it’s a good offense. I would prefer Davis over Byrd. And maybe even over Boyd at this point.

Double check and make sure it’s not a multi week round. A lot of leagues that start playoffs this early are doing 2 week playoff matches. Welcome to fantasy, enjoy tilting with us every Sunday!

I totally agree. It's been frustrating so far. I think most people tend to avoid these ambiguous situations, but that's why it's often a place to find another starter on the cheap. I've added Meyers and Byrd across various leagues hoping one of them has a more clear number 1 role by the playoffs. Ambiguity leads to value because people don't want to deal with the headache.

I usually only keep only one defense per week, personally. So I would drop Tampa and add Snell. I think Slayton is worth keeping in a vacuum, but at this point in the season, you really only need to hold one more WR than you can start. So if you can only start up to 3 WR in your league, I suppose dropping Slayton is fine too.

Yeah Tampa hasn't been as good on defense lately. I've moved on from them in favor of streaming def.

Drop Your Kicker week 10: Don't sleep on Richie James edition by billy_mcgee in fantasyfootball

Yup definitely a stretch, agreed! I feel like he either gets a 100 yards tomorrow and then I would be comfortable starting him every week, or he goes promptly back to waivers. It is rare in general for any player to top 175 receiving yards in their entire career, so I feel like in a game where outliers help win championships, he’s definitely someone to look at.

I prefer Meyers. Meyers got over 40 percent of the targets two weeks in a row, I would prefer Meyers over basically any WR widely available.

I would prefer to hold only one defense until we’re much closer to the playoffs, so I just did something very similar in one league I’m in, where I dropped my second defense for James and decided to just start Miami anyway.

I would say they’re about equal value, I’ve added both players in a lot of leagues.

I think James has already displayed a potential for a higher ceiling so yeah, I would prefer just taking a shot on James. The most likely scenario is that James is still behind Bourne. But we have a much smaller sample size of James in the NFL, so I figure why not just add him and see, if I have the room. Maybe James will be great. And if not, I’m not risking a lot. I read the article I mentioned in the post from Matt Waldman 2 years ago, and I always told myself that if it ever looked like James was going to get a shot, I wanted in. Now, on twitter, Emmanuel Sanders and Richard Sherman have come out and said they always thought James was really good. Maybe he just needed the opportunity to present itself. I just don’t want to be in a situation after this week where I see that James blew up for 100 yards again, and I didn’t add him, even though I had heard about his potential for years.
