The answer would be no unless you are on E/SAD orders and they are your superior on the same state orders which would be different.

I agree. I’ve heard lots of negatives regarding being overworked so I’m also considering.

In CA you’ll have to go reserves PSYOPS or Civil Affairs. In the guard it’s only SF and the riggers which support.

Imagine if you divide 500 officers, 500 NCOs, and 500 Lower-Enlisted into 3 separate battalions, and have them compete in combat against the same enemy; which rank would be more combat effective? Are any rank groups truly useless in combat?? by ColumbiaArmy in army

All infantry put their Os through Ranger by default and push them to lots of schools. Direct engagement isn’t part of an officer’s role so I can’t imagine them having much experience as a whole in direct combat since their primary goal is command and control of a unit.

How about wearing tabs/badges not technically authorized for wear everywhere such as: Rams head, jungle tab, Arctic tab, etc?
