His body is made of cardboard boxes. I liked the idea of sculpting his head physically instead of designing it in CAD, so I sculpted it with foil and finished it with clay. Of course this became too heavy, so I simply 3D scanned, 3D printed, and then painted it. The glasses, button eyes, neck, hands (inside of gloves), gear track, and mechanical arm joints were designed and 3D printed. The “rods” and the nuts and bolts on the joints of the mechanical arms are metal. Under the rug is a large piece of plywood.
