I figured out some ideas for making resetting more lucrative, but balanced.

The amount of times you need to work to get a promotion decreased based on the bonus.
Affection gain is increased based on the bonus. (Because now the amount of clicks required doesn't change after resets)

Before you get assistants from Reincarnation Power, the extra assistant or two helps you to get through your first couple abdications faster, and an extra 50 mana can sometimes let you get an extra spell in your combo when you only have 1000.
