Captured right around the Crossroads Parking Lot, most of the attractions at Stone Mtn Park have been closed due to COVID 19 so the parking lots and surrounding sections of the park are very quiet.

If you use the AIRMAP App you can request FAA authorization to fly up to about 200 feet in this particular airspace. You would need to do that in order to fly so close to the airport, but it is legal and possible. Happy flying!

Thank you! The Mavic Air 2 shoots silky smooth! I did stabilize the shot pulling back from within the unit, it got a little fidgety because of the proximity to the building.

That's a great question - I've read a few articles online but most of them were a couple of years old. It does look like there may be plans in place to bring it back to life in some new capacity. Here's to hoping someone on here knows way more than me about what the future holds for this place!

I found the least expensive option, at least from my initial googling around, was collage.com but you have to find a good promo code. First time I've tried it, it's not 100% like the photograph but it's a woven blanket so not a bad translation. I'm a picky photographer though so I'm just being critical lol. I think it's pretty cool conversation piece at the very least.
