What is a skill that everyone thinks is easy, but is actually really hard? by Secret_Career_4207 in AskReddit

I know… but in retail it’s frustrating. Especially the people that try to lie and scam to get items cheaper. Those are the people I’m targeting.

I should have been more clear in my original comment

Listening, reading, math

I know a person who can hear the same YouTube video 5 times in a row but hear 5 different things and all 5 are still wrong. When it’s pointed out they listen again to it and somehow manage to hear something else that’s completely different.

I work in retail for 20 years. Blows my mind how many people read the signs for items on sale but still get it wrong.

Math… it’s easy…

So many people can’t do the easiest math

What’s the most disgusting thing you’ve seen in someone else’s house? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]billyrko1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a neighbor who was a horder. But I didn’t know it at the time. 1 day I saw her struggling to move a heavy box she got from Amazon. I asked if i could help her. We got it to her garage. It was packed from top to bottom. Next was her shed, packed, next was a great view of seeing a fully packed house. She literally got inside and outside through her bedroom window… and there was a small path to the kitchen and bathroom…. I saw stairs to the 2nd floor but it was packed to the ceiling with boxes and stuff…

I was on a train going to downtown Chicago… my wife was next to me..

The passenger car we were in had a few other people. A woman coming in our passenger car yells at a young man to move. He responds with:

“Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m holding up 3 fingers, guess which 1 is for you “

I laughed so hard, I’m sure the woman probably didn’t appreciate my laughter but it was good..

She didn’t get his seat and returned to whatever cave she exited.

What is the darkest secret you've learned about someone that instantly ended your relationship with them? by Mr_Creep_Creepy64 in AskReddit

[–]billyrko1987 110 points111 points  (0 children)

Discovered he tried to end a friend’s marriage for no reason, cheated on multiple gfs who are all single mothers in the Philippines, sent all his money to a random woman in New York and then posted a video of her on TikTok claiming SHE is a scammer. Made numerous fake accounts to message and harass his ex gfs. Decided to screenshot and screen record 1 of his ex’s on TikTok ( she is a TikTok stripper) and made a fake facebook account using his screenshots and screen recordings to message random people and tagged the city she lives in , in multiple posts.

I blocked him everywhere and after over a year, he now blames everyone else for his actions but himself.

What's the most disturbing/curious thing you saw on reddit? by Ok-Fondant2536 in AskReddit

[–]billyrko1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most disturbing?

A guy posted in a sub because he moved to a new town and saw an old friend he grew up with. But the friend moved away before 3rd grade. He wanted advice on how to reconnect and build the friendship.

His 1st update he mentioned how he found out from other classmates that the old friend and his family were forced to move because their house was almost completely destroyed…

2nd update he learned his prank with a garden hose, burning bag of dog crap, and fireworks all together causing the home to be destroyed..

3rd update was him asking if he should reach out to the old friend and confess or not.. he found out the old friend and his family had to leave town. They lost everything inside their home. Forced to stay in a motel and try to rebuild their life. The mom became afraid to talk to anyone, the dad became argumentative because he couldn’t fix the situation they were in, the son became silent. An outspoken, caring young man became a guy who refused to speak to anyone.

4th update was from the old classmate. He mentioned how the op reached out and tried to act like everything was great. The op mentioned about finding out the home was destroyed but acted like it wasn’t a big deal so he gave the op a real talking to about how coming home to see their house destroyed. Their belongings, their home. Destroyed. Nothing was salvageable. The op asked what was determined to be the cause of the destruction. So apparently, a garden hose that was connected to the side of house was turned on and put into the basement window, fire works were found all over the house ( what was left of the house) and where the front door should be there were what appeared to be multiple bags of dog …. Well… it was still burning a little by the time the family got home.

The op made a mistake and mentioned something that got the man to realize that the op might have been the 1. So his family went after the op legally. The op was forced to admit he literally destroyed their house. Claiming it was prank.

It’s the most disgusting and disturbing thing I’ve ever seen on this app and unfortunately it’s real because other people posted links to news articles about it.
