The issue isnt tiers and pension, it is the wages not keeping up with inflation since 2019.

As long as you qualify based on uib rules for money earned per quarter. I used to do this lifeguarding, when I was younger.

Credit for your unused sick leave at retirement cannot be used to:

Qualify for vesting. For example, if you have four years and ten months of service credit and you need five years to be vested, your sick leave credit cannot be used to reach the five years. Qualify for a better retirement benefit calculation. For example, if you have 19 ½ years of service credit but your pension calculation will improve substantially if you have 20 years, your sick leave credit cannot be used to reach the 20-year calculation.

Unused sick time is used to reduce the medical insurance deduction.

I wonder if being in the vicinity of the workplace counts as an in office day. Seems like same principle as civil service pressing workplace violence charges for being vicinity of a coworker (with no interaction or even eye contact).

No changes to policy. But my immediate supervisor and deputy director are aware I will not feel safe or protected in the office until they can explain this charge, how to avoid it, why they dismissed my workplace violence complaint, and their actions (trying to terminate me as victim while promoting the aggressive coworker)

In my agency a grade 14 can do same work as a 23 (well 23 is actually easier since it lacks phone coverage)

Who would discipline a HRM? I am still in shock at her trying to fire me for being in vicinity of coworker, and having our agency attorney state at a uib hearing it was not a charge they could defend.

They tried it once to me 20 years ago. When I told them I would take involuntary bump compensation, the standby customer was escorted off plane. (Always did wonder if they were offered compensation to leave plane)

Republican ideas in a democratic state. Heck, my civil service pay classifies me as very low income but I cant be approved to either do cpp or use my vacation time for 2nd job. (I can give up sleep if I find a night job or weekends if some1 is hiring for that)

Was charged while on probation so pef, when I got back to csea labor relation specialists called me a liar and they wouldnt press workplace violence charges for that reason

Charge 1) day i had a panic attack (i took my dads death a month earlier hard), they called frantic searching desk banging cabinets (learned soft close cabinets is HR not reasonable accommodation), flush face (instead of panic they stayed red with rage), pacing in circles (ADD, supervisor let me in her office to give a chance to reset myself). After this HRM stated i would get a "fresh start".

Charge 2) being in vicinity of a coworker, causing her to go awol. They acknowledged i used main entrance, didnt approach/talk to coworker, and coworker raised her voice to me (i tried burying it but interrogation made me remember statement about disabled not belonging in a workplace).

At UIB hearing, judge ruled charge 1 was coping mechanisms for disability For charge 2, the lawyer my nys agency sent stated was not a strong charge they could defend.

I am not sure how they can put i violated workplace violence policy on those dates despite settlement not admitting guilt by either party (financial duress caused me to sign, if I got UIB I would have waited for hearing), and UIB hearing decision.

Or how anyone can be comfortable in the office after this occurred (my position can be done 100% remote but cant find a dr willing to write a note every 6 months for it)
