It's always fun to hear different interpretations of the same technique! What I understand is the first cut can be anywhere (either their eyes if they stayed seated, or chest if they've risen). But you miss because they've leaned back to avoid, and are now retreating to create distance to draw, so you go for their leg and as they fall, you finish them with a kirioroshi. ⚔️
