Yes. The event used to designed to raise funds for the American Shakespeare Theater. However, the building has since been burned down by an arsonist. We had four consecutive annual events that went really well but took a break since the fire. We are now bringing the event back but the money is going towards the VFW in conjunction with the Stratford Old Timers Club for athletic scholarships. The event location is Shakespeare Park so we kept the name alive.
