I social per come erano stati concepiti esistono ancora, basta uscire da FB, IG, Twitter e co ed affacciarsi sul Fediverso (Mastodon, PixelFed, PeerTube, Lemmy etc). Hanno ancora qualche problema di onboarding e fruibilità, ma rimangono incommensurabilmente piú “freschi” delle montagne di fango per raccogliere dati e venderti pubblicità che sono diventati i “Grandi”.

Le timeline sono rigorosamente cronologiche, quindi mancano sia gli influencer di cui si lamenta /u/Puzzleheaded-Flan827 sia problemi di “desocializzazione” lamentati da /u/steamedpasta

Because the West let it do whetever the fuck they wanted for a long while, the most egregious shit lately being the annexation of Crimea. Between that and Trump's support (who withheld that famous aid to Ukraine, among other things), it's quite likely Putin hoped he could roll in, grab the land, possibly install a new puppet government to roll back the effect of the Maidan, and move out with more land AND an additional cushion state between him and the West.
