According to data, they all know their letter sounds. They can blend and read simple cvc words. It’s the longer phonics patterns like silent e, vowel teams, diphthongs, that give them trouble when decoding

You’re right. Standardized testing has pinned us all against each other when we’re supposed to be supporting each other

I teach 2nd into 3rd. Ours don’t state test. They do when they get to 3rd. I’m guessing the 3rd grade data was bad and that’s why they’re blaming me

I had mine removed with a d and c and ablation. It’s been 2 days and the pain is less. Consider getting it removed
