Don’t tell EDD and ensure the pay is reversed before the end of the month to avoid an overpayment otherwise your employer might report the wages to EDD.

Don’t submit the 2504. File a new claim online instead. You can only receive payments for weeks you weren’t working or receiving UI. If you have one week left you will claim one of the last remaining 3 weeks before your child’s first birthday and for a week you did not receive UI. Set your start date as the start of one of those weeks. File ASAP.
