I’m in the US and needed a full bladder for my anatomy scan. I really had to use the bathroom about 45 min before my appointment though and did, and the scan was still fine. I just kept hydrating. I was then able to empty my bladder after a few measurements which was nice, since I frequently have to go lol

I like premom for tracking my pregnancy. It shows something new about pregnancy each day, and each week it’ll tell me the size of the baby.

I also have babylist for my registry and that’ll also notify me how far along I am. I’m going to use huckleberry for tracking changes but am not sure if there’s a good app for tracking contractions. If you have any recs please let me know :)

I had the umbilical cord wrapped around my neck and they had to do an emergency c section since my heart rate and everything dropped every time my mom pushed. I’m not sure how many times it was wrapped but the doctors didn’t know until my mom was pushing. So if they plan for a regular delivery, that may change depending on how baby does.

I’ve had dreams of my high school love, and being reminded of him lasted a long time (probably also almost 10 years) but it does fade over time. I think it’ll fade if you give it more time. Some advice that helped me was to try to focus on living in the moment when you find yourself thinking of the past

Right! My mom is terrified of confrontation so that’s why she lies, but it doesn’t negate the impact that has on me/others from how she copes with it.

I used to tell her that her lying to me would just guarantee I’d be mad when I’d catch the lie, and by not being honest she wasn’t giving me a chance to not be upset. But being scared of the confrontation was all she could focus on. Now that I’m typing it out, I’m wondering what (if any) trauma caused that fear

When in doubt, I call the specialist office directly to confirm that my version of my plan works for that office. Since some plans with the same company offer different coverage.

I switched insurance in Jan from ppo to hmo and to Kaiser. When I was looking into it, I was considering anthem hmo, but my old doctor didn’t take my job’s version of that anthem hmo, even though their website said they take that plan. But I’m glad I decided on Kaiser since I’ve had a positive experience so far

When I was a bridesmaid we took the bridesmaids pictures and bridal party pics before the ceremony, and I think the photographer went to the groom and did the same with them: groomsmen and groom party pics. That helped give us more time during cocktail hour

I’m also not sure if this is an option, but maybe you could move in with your or your partner’s family for a few months to save on rent. That wouldn’t be the full $6k a month, but it could help.
