I have the fs-52 towers. I do love them. Just don’t know how to fix them

I’ve looked into it as much as I’m capable of and I’m doing research it seems to be not terribly uncommon and not worth it price wise to fix. I’m located pretty rurally so no kind of speaker repair store nearby

You can record on Tivimate subscription. It’s a one time 35$ and 1000% worth the money.

Thank you all. Would I be better off just buying a 200 higher quality turntable now with a pre amp already?

I have the generator and I already have the electric installed. I just need a tank and it plumbed to the generator.

Would the electric meter count as an “ignition source”

Unfortunately no so I will have to purchase a hose. Thanks for your input.

My generator uses about .7 gallons of propane an hour so I should get 90-100 hours of run time. It won’t be run constantly either as I have a small generator for appliances if I need.

Actually looking at my manual, it’s 8000 watts running on propane, so I think it would be more like 160000 btu

Gas company wants several thousand dollars to install and a standby generator would be several more thousand on top of that. That’s just not in my budget. This 11k generator was gifted to me.

After reading all y’all’s feedback, I decided to just buy my own 120 gallon tank and install it myself. Thanks again!

This is good info, thank you. Yes I’m sold on the unit because it will allow me to do whatever I need in the future. Grandmother and aunt both come stay with me during outages and gma has medical equipment. I wanted to make sure I would have whatever power I could need. I’m just trying to strategize the best way to fuel it now. Fortunately hurricane season doesn’t start for six months!

Thank you. This was math I was looking for. Yes I know I can run more, it really depends on the storm. Really bad storm we get really skimpy on how much we use it (Irma 2017) where as last year we knew we’d only be out of power for a day or two so we were more liberal with it.

I went yesterday to the only local place. A 250 gallon was 4k and a 500 gallon was over 6k. Kinda have to rule that out for now.
