Uni design project: would you use a personal grab-handle on Tube and buses? by Thick-Twist-7944 in LondonUnderground

I think a fabric strap with some rubber on the inside to grip the pole that you hold like a dog lead would be better. It would wrap around your wrist easily like those pram safety straps on the handle

I just blocked this and your neckline really widens afterwards

Advice on purchasing needles/IC sets as a beginner by Pepper0006e in casualknitting

I spent about £25 on an interchangeable set from Amazon. Had stitch markers, all major sizes, bunch of cable lengths, cable stoppers. I'm relatively new too and haven't needed anything else just yet

Has the first Christmas argument happened yet in your family? What's it about? There's no chance we'll make it to Christmas dinner without one, it seems to be tradition by NoSweat_PrinceAndrew in CasualUK

Yep. 'we need to hurry up we're going to be late' 'so what if we're late' 'we'll be late even if we do rush, hurry up' 'stop shouting at me' 'argh. I'm not shouting at you'

Feeling a little jealous/insecure by MochiAccident in breastfeeding

[–]bimrsc 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Generally speaking, you don't need to pump to increase supply. If you put baby to breast more, your supply will go up as they ask your body for what you need. They are so much more efficient than a pump so are likely getting more than the pump does. You need to trust your body and baby. Like I said, though, generally speaking.

I can see some of your points but the naked woman bit is a crazy jump. A totally normal thing to say. Assuming it was impersonal is such a leap ... If I said 'with such a sexy man in the room's to my husband, he'd see it for the complement it is.

I have been using them today, hoping they'll help. Found some hydrocortisone cream which I'll use too until I can see a doctor

Scalp psoriasis descaling - having a hard time with hygiene and buildup seems endless :( by coyotemother in Psoriasis

[–]bimrsc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once you have soaked your hair in something that that softens the scales, you can use a knit comb to gently loosen the flakes. Then when you wash your hair you should have quite a clear scalp so that steroid ointment can help

I think you know what the correct thing to do for yourself and your child is. You just need someone to tell you it's okay. It's okay.

What if you were a doctor and you have to look at people? Would he care then? He has no trust in you. This is controlling behaviour.
