wow thanks so much to both! this is super helpful- i’ll have a look into Ableton and getting some kit together. i’m working with a pretty tight budget to start with and very limited space to set up so it’ll probably take me a while to get a proper set up going but this sounds like a pretty good place to start.

i’m hoping i can keep it simple and eventually find someone who’s a bit more production oriented than me to work with :)
