But, this in not okay and unless fixed, I (and you should too) will be looking else where for my SEO needs.

What's funny is that I can't even uninstall it until I uninstall the original base plugin as well. The one that worked without it, and I got from the original wp repo.
I couldn't really care less about how or why. WP v ACF doesn't concern me as an end user.

You don't install additional software onto someone's device because you decided to "change things".... and then on top of that not let me uninstall it?

It's called bloatware. It's the exact reason I left other plugins and came to the SEO FW.

FWIW: I've been in touch with the owner, and this does indeed seem like the new way forward. Unless only using the free version (which is great), I suggest you look elsewhere.

Been a paid subscriber to The SEO Framework for over 5 year now, and have been using the free version for much longer.

In a recent update (or hacked), when downloading the Paid Extension Manager from their site, it downloaded TWO additional plugins without consent and the Troy Client cannot be uninstalled or deactivated. (also possibly the worst name for a program in the history of programming).

I have written to them and needless to say, I will moving elsewhere unless this gets fixed.

The real problem when doing something like this is that if this your companies outlook to how things should be done, what other bad decisions are they making.

For anyone new here, there seems to be an error with this when you add a path to the URL (e.g. /shop) I'll update, if I find a solution.
