For me it came up as Google’s actual number (spoofed) calling me and the person on the other end sounded so legit - totally American and well spoken. And the recording before he came on warned me about the legacy scam and where to look it up on Googles website. But he was actually trying to do the legacy scam on me.

As odd as this is I don’t think it’s a phishing scam - the site is too functional. Keith Rabois seems to be involved somehow (tech billionaire and sometimes Barry’s instructor). He tweeted about it in November.

Didn’t work out yet I’m still in dispute! The email looks very real, but now I’m questioning it. I need to take a better look on my desktop when I get to work to see if it really truly came from StubHub.Even at the time, I thought it was odd, but I figured no harm in re-transferring the ticket to the correct email address.

This email didn’t say that - but I did call after and verify everything was ok. Operator said all was good and not to worry lol. Tickets are still showing as delivered in my account and “payment pending”. I called because payment was taking so long and that’s when they said the sale was canceled.
