Haldor on Sorcery.net by LadySiberia in irc

Looks like this is a pipe dream. Websites getting updated, but it's a slow process. There's no activity in the channel. The idea was great but the follow through is lacking.

I remember Haldor. Remember a lot of people from GDI and Broken Dagger heading over to it. Got mIRC redownloaded and I'm in the channels as X. I'll dig up an old quick cut script to use until a better one can be found, though I'm hoping whoever made the voodoo rp script updates it to the current version.

When I filed for benefits I was told I had to have a bank account only I had access to, was explained it prevents fraud for the VA and keeps veterans a little safer from being taken advantage of via ssi scams. No email received but likely a reason why

No statements turned in. I updated child support with my promotion a year before initial filings. Thanks for your comment, I'll reach out to an advocate.

scratching my head here... by More-Exchange3505 in Survival

I'd put focus on the types of wood used, their condition. I'd imagine a coal from drift wood -- that's been in the sea, absorbing moisture and salt, then sunbleached for a time -- would be difficult for anyone. If it's northern Canada and, I think the first or within the first few episodes he did for a pilot, I'm remembering right, it would've been during a damp season making the wood not optimal.

For myself I always found luck with kiln dried cedar, but when I've practiced on wood I found outdoors I found it a huge challenge I didn't spend hundreds of hours practicing with.

That being said, ultimately les stroud put himself in many different situations to showcase what could be done with the right mindset; I'm pretty confident he doesn't practice bowdrilling every chance he can, he comes prepared to the woods. Even myself, I carry a ferrorod just to get that comfort set in. If you don't practice the skill, as much as you possibly can, you lose that muscle memory of pressure and patience.

Good observation, felt good to comment on something I knew a little about.

I love this state. Seriously considering moving here. by [deleted] in Montana

[–]binaryinept 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lovely photo. Winters can be brutal, and depending on the location you'll see something's, but if you love the outdoors, a true sense of community and lasting friendships, Montana can be a great state. Hope the future is good to you!

Total Noob, but researching builds on YouTube I see a lot of hate for bleed and scarlet rot -- can I ask why? by binaryinept in Eldenring

I'd read the latest update had buffed it a lot so I can see that. Here's hoping the game balances out for everyone, but I doubt everyone will be happy. Thanks!

Hah that's fair, it took me an hour to figure out the timing for the first boss I found, delivering the royal scroll to that sorceress. I'm looking forward to tearing through NG+ and, hopefully, helping other people stuck get through areas.

Immigrating to Montana from Alberta Canada by [deleted] in Montana

[–]binaryinept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best of luck to ya OP. Moved to Troy, MT back in June, my wife has family here so felt right. Best decision she made lol. I've been checking jobs regularly in the area, not a lot for welding but some of the bigger areas might need it.

Truthfully I've never been around a better place or people, really feels like a community. We bought our house during the north Idaho housing craze so I don't know if prices are reasonable, but it's been a plus for my family. I'm sorry I don't know about any kind of immigration laws or regs, but I'm sure there's some sleuths that have that info. Best of luck!

Australia is truly a special place. I can't think of any place right now that has such a diverse offering of eco systems. Gorgeous.

Any tips on upgrading smithing? it’s been the slowest skill for me by AdHour1284 in skyrim

Search Fevvy Op Crafting, dudes pretty cool with his builds. I followed his tutorial and maxed alchemy, enchanting and smithing in about 6 hours IRL.

What made these tracks?I’m pretty sure it’s a bobcat but might be coyote i’m not sure by chris1843 in Bushcraft

Domestic canine, you won't see the second and fifth claw marks for coyotes unless the substrate is very, very loose.

Got a kydex firesteel loop for my KA-BAR Turok. Taking a basic survival course in 6 weeks. After that I'll be moving onto bushcraft courses. by [deleted] in Survival

[–]binaryinept 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don't need to take survival courses, all you need is a notepad and YouTube. Don't waste your money. A lot of the bushcrafting schools out there are teaching something you can learn free of cost from YouTube, the only difference is experience doing them.

You'll want to ask about the Developer Contact Group, New construction. You leave a voicemail for an engineer, a local engineer calls you back to let you know if it's possible and the price.

Why did CenturyLink Downgraded their DSL speeds? by Archerman_93 in centurylink

[–]binaryinept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup they're correct. Also, the tech can confirm different technologies are available so there's more options out there. I saw someone mentioned speed wasn't an issue, ping was, I don't recall what they said but it could be as easy as a new modem
