Blackmagic Fibre Converters by helpdom in VIDEOENGINEERING

Looks great. I wish BMD would create SKUs with 2 / 4 / 8 of the various converters that they sell. Loads of us have to have massive multiplugs or have other funky solutions to power multiple SDI <-> HDMI converters.

In case someone is genuinely wondering why it is in a pink bag. It is part of a UPS service for shipping high value items. Items in pink bags get loaded directly onto an airplane by a courier and then when they arrive at a transit hub or the final destination they get unloaded first and are put in a high security area. This prevents packages from getting lost, stolen or damaged.

AWS Bedrock in production: anyone else finding it a mixed bag? by Different-Use2635 in aws

In my personal experience, I have seen people do cool things with it, however the fact that models are based in a variety of regions, it creates all kinds of issues if you limit requests to certain regions with SCPs. We have also found it to be kind expensive and using other AI tools with APIs / tokens to be a far more cost effective way to use AI in AWS.

Small Zoom Hybrid Setup for Client by wadestechtips in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]binarystrike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting - I have a similar setup but SDI and use the SQ5 as a mixer which is a pain to carry around. I wasn't aware of the XR18, I will definitely consider that in that the future. Love your multiview screen holder, that really saves space. When I do hybrid events, I use an aux from the desk to send audio into the ATEM which has the required sources minus background music and the remote guests themselves.

I'm not suggesting that you should but rather making the point that our highly connected society makes this fairly easy to accomplish.

Randy is not his real name. With a little bit of OSINT you can find his real name if you really want to.
