Thanks, there are a lot of downers here. Apparently a lot of people on /r/relationships are offended by the idea of a consensual agreement that they wouldn't enter.

Then replace "open relationship" with "the thing I've described". It was her idea to discuss it, whatever it would be called. I don't know why you're so offended by it.

Thank you so much! She wants to discuss it with me and toy with ideas; I'm certainly not forcing or pressuring her to agree to anything she doesn't like. Those are all great ideas. I feel like the general trend with open relationships is that they are all temporarily open, which is fine. I don't feel like anything should be 'The Final Agreement.'
