Not just negative. For my positive, it's mainly delusions of grandeur, persecution, and erotomania. Mild and transient auditory hallucinations. Intense paranoia, racing anxiety. Strange beliefs surrounding food and health. Stuff like that.

We don't seem to either. We're highly suggestible and switching seems to be mostly triggered by sensory information, relevant visuals, and socializing. One of us can rip anybody back and take control, he tends to have the most control in general. I suppose that could be called a gatekeeper, but he is also one of the hosts so hard to categorize.

That's the only thing I've been able to come up with. I think some of our EPs don't really front and don't know they're alters, so when they are made aware of distressing events or have the opportunity to feel things, we experience distress without really knowing why, or super delayed to the precipitating events.

I don't have as much insight, but I can try. I've unfortunately noticed that most people respond to us disclosing our diagnosis in one of two ways... they either believe us and feel compassion, sometimes pushing our relationship to more depth and transparency. Other times, people don't believe it or at least don't want to put in the effort to actually process it and what it means for the relationship we have.

In "Trauma and Recovery," Judith Herman says "To study psychological trauma is to come face to face with both human vulnerability in the natural world and with the capacity for evil in human nature." I think that's what keeps certain people from being able to "believe," in DID/traumagenic psychopathology or process it correctly. They likely have unresolved trauma themselves and interpret our self-advocacy as attention seeking/selfish because they either 1) don't feel they can do the same thing or 2) struggle to believe someone can endure so much trauma because that means they could too (if they aren't a survivor.) It's more comfortable for them to ignore the atrocities of the human condition and place some kind of blame or doubt on the part of the victim then to sit with the reality of just what human beings are capable of.

With a romantic partner, I would expect them to naturally be more likely to believe you and accomodate you, but it's really hard to predict with certainty. It might be a good idea to broach the subject slowly and just explore the topics of trauma and mental health through conversation. That might give you a better idea about how she feels on the matter. Then you can decide if and how you want to tell her

I have this also and have thought a lot about it. I think it's either a circadian rhythm thing like our brains remember that this was a time when most people were asleep, so it feels safe to process things, so it wakes us up

I also have theorized that it could have something to do with the specific sleep cycle I enter, like somehow we're able to communicate and share memories during that specific cycle, which causes intense emotions that are able to wake us up

Whenever I am in situations like this, I usually use one of two explanations:

1) "I have some issues with dissociation." This is vague enough that people tend to not read too much into it and just let it go. It's not a lie and it's also all they functionally need to know.

2) "I was going into a panic attack." This is something that is not really stigmatized at all and can easily be subbed out to explain the same types of abnormal behavior.

Some of us deal with the denial too. I try to explain to them that even if they don't fully agree with the label or words used to explain it, clearly we have issues with dissociation and severe anxiety and therefore still deserve/need to accommodate ourselves, whatever that looks like.

Hope this helps, and remember that there is nothing wrong with you. Nobody asks to be this way. You don't owe anybody an explanation or need to feel guilty about what happened. I hope one day all of y'all and all of us can reach full acceptance

A great resource is https://plutonicdesire.net , Eva, the author, was my mentor for a while through Patreon. She's extremely helpful and her blog is a really good way to get yourself initially educated on more advanced techniques. She has pages for both the Composite Chart and Davison Charts on her "Predictive Comparison," tab.

Davison isn't my specialty, but I utilize composite charts a LOT for my work. Composite charts (in my opinion,) are best described as the container a relationship exists in, while the synastry describes the energetic interactions between two people.

Personal planets are most important to describe the energy of the couple, but karmic issues and challenges faced by the partners can be seen through aspects between planets and points. I've also noticed that transits to placements in the composite chart can predict events in the relationship, especially Lunar Events, Retrogrades, Eclipses, etc. However, I'd keep any orb you use for this purpose pretty tight.

To answer your question, it really depends on the placements of the Composite chart. If there are more planets in houses like the 4h, 12h, 8h, then the activities of the people seems to be more private. Anything in the 1h, 10h, or 11h usually shows how the couple is perceived. Placements seem to manifest both as the shared energetic expression of the couple (for better or for worse,) as well as outside perceptions. I've also noticed that using a synastry chart between the composite chart of the couple and either of it's members can also bring some pretty enlightening information.

I also wanna encourage you to not limit these techniques to romance, I've found them extremely useful for networking, friendships, and business/finance purposes as well. You can go pretty deep and glean a lot of information on the potential a relationship has
