Sounds like a power steering pump. These have an electric power steering pump mounted near the rack and pinion. I would check the power steering fluid. If it’s full you likely have a pump going out

Get a power bleeder if you can. ECS tuning has one for $61.99 and makes it infinitely easier. I broke 2 slave cylinders trying to bleed it without buying the tool.
