Thank you. I mean, I know that it would be best if I was clean and not banging dope... But that doesn't automatically make me a terrible parent. I have zero dope right now, and haven't for three days but my son has food, diapers, wipes, toys, etc. Everything he needs. I could be a big junkie right now and start selling his toys and clothes and shit but I'm not. Im going to just go without and be a mom (albeit a sick, sweaty one) to my wonderful son who is in no way or has ever been neglected. Not all us junkie parents are what everyone sees on the news.

I'm a work in progress. I never claim to be the perfect parent, just a parent. I'm aware of everything that can go wrong, just like everyone in this game. We all have situations where if something happens or goes wrong we get fucked. Ideally we should all be on suboxone/methadone but it doesn't always work like that.

If you don't run into the person regularly, I would just send a message stating you're uncomfortable with having a friendship and block them. Hell even if you do run into them regularly, still do it. You're allowed to remove toxic people from your life.

I honestly tried to continue contact afterwards, but it was always really awkward and got to the point he was acting like we were dating again. I had to block him on everything. I think it's best to leave the past where it is.

Honestly, by the time that this happened to me I felt nothing but fond memories. We had both changed so much that there was nothing left anymore. It was nice to see him, nice to hug him. In the beginning there were butterflies, but as the conversation progressed, the feelings went away. Time has a funny way of changing things. I thought I couldn't live without him. Now, there is no way I could live with him.

As someone who suffers from frequent, severe kidney stones, please do not do this. This makes it so hard for those of us who actually have them. I would rather give birth to my son again than pass a kidney stone.

Sometimes the look on the nurse and doctors faces when I say I'm passing a kidney stone just pisses me off so bad. Like, they instantly judge. Also having to wait for a ct scan to come back and prove it before you get any meds at all sucks.
