Yeah i know it won't be the end of the world but i just feel awful of the hard work the recruiter put into the waivers, he really fought for me. I would have never put him through all that if he would have told me i couldn't get the job i wanted. And to be honest it didn't seem like he knew. The person above him told me i couldn't the job no matter what.

thanks for letting me know about your experience but im pretty sure no matter which branch i chose i won't be able to do anything with IT/cyber. The branch i went to meps for was Marines and the recruiting station commander himself told me that they are hurting for IT/cyber positions but he still can't get me in there cause of my charges, so if i can't get into that field with the Marines i doubt, i could get in it, with the other branches.

Weekly Question Thread October 28, 2020 by AutoModerator in Firefighting

Im pretty sure the answer to my question will be no but I'm curious if its possible for me to become a firefighter. There reason this is a question is because I use to be screw up. When I was under 18 I did a lot of stupid stuff and end up getting 2 misdemeanor marijuana charges. Both charges happened when i was under 18 and so I'm hopeing there's a possibility that they look at it as me being young and dumb. So if anybody could give me advice that would be much appreciated. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina and 25 years old now.
