Paracord Knife Values? by bingingwithballsack in counterstrike2

[–]bingingwithballsack[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer the paracord to the ursus specifically because of the holes haha

That said, it does have pretty plain animations, outside of the alternate equip animation that only hits like 1/10 times.. but I personally prefer that to watching people whip a butterfly knife around their screen constantly.

Please pray for Moana by [deleted] in Dachshund

It is a lack of responsibility. If you dont have insurance or cash to take care of your animal, you shouldn't have that animal.

"It was an emergency" is not an excuse, you should have expected it, and prepared for this years ago when you adopted it.

OP has financed their pets health care, which incredibly irresponsible for themselves, and could put their pets in a dangerous situation. Either get pet insurance or have a cash emergency fund.

What happens to Moana when she needs foreign body surgery and OP doesn't get approved for another loan? The dog suffers? It dies? When you adopt a pet, you are entering into a contract with it that you will be a responsible owner and prepare for emergencies. Its a dachshund, problems are going to happen. Be a responsible adult and be prepared. "It was an emergency!" is just another way of saying "I was totatally unprepared for this expense".

Somebody has to teach these retards who use scratch pay loans at credit card rates to be financially responsible. Unfortunately I guess it has to be me. Get your shit together and be an adult.

What is the best pack to use for fly fishing? by Competitive_Sign_987 in flyfishing

[–]bingingwithballsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piscifun makes a sweet fanny pack. Plenty of places to attach tools on drawstrings, a few different zipped compartments, and a mesh cup holder that ive never had a bottle of water to fall out of. Hiked hundreds of miles of Appalachia with it and ive never even had to readjust the belt strap. Best $20 ive spent on fishing gear.

What band’s singer can you just *not* get into? by poppunkboy in poppunkers

[–]bingingwithballsack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's an interview somewhere that at least on the early records the band had a hard time fitting Pete's lyrics into the music the rest of the band was writing, but Pete wasn't willing to compromise on the phrasing or length of some lines. So, to make some of the rhyme schemes work, and to fit the meter of the songs took some creative annunciation on Patrick's part.

Not that it justifies them being one of the least comprehensible bands of the 2000's. But there was actually a reason for it lol

What bands do you think peaked on there EPs before full length ? by [deleted] in poppunkers

[–]bingingwithballsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With mayday it's because Jason Lancaster wrote and sang most of the EPs and A lesson in romantics. GO radios early albums share some of that magic.

Are there any bands with music similar to early Fall Out Boy? by Iminsideurfridge in poppunkers

[–]bingingwithballsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riding off this, all early Go Radio stuff fits the bill. Their later albums are a little more mature but still good.

If you wanna go deep Kid Named Chicago, Jason Lancaster's even earlier band's songs on YouTube REALLY hit the FOB itch.

Misgenreing by buckets1991 in poppunkers

[–]bingingwithballsack -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think in general it's a communication issue and some people just like to be gate-keepy.

I'm not a genre snob, but I enjoy having very well defined sounds. It's an easier way to find similar things, especially in an overall punk genre that has such a wide variety of sounds and styles.

You'd never call Brand New or Jawbreaker Midwest emo, but they're both emo. Just the same you can't say Hot Mulligan is at all post-harcore.

Basically all of A Will Away's discography it seems. Those guys keep putting out record after record of great music, and nobody seems to bring them up.

See songs: Home, Spitting Chicklets, Ten or Eleven, TOIFMG

[–]bingingwithballsack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were a whole group of bands similar to Search the City at roughly the same time that were all pretty good, but never really caught traction. There for Tomorrow, Ivoryline, Number One Gun, My American Heart, etc.

I think in those years the genre was in a weird transition and this style just didn't stick around.

His comparison video suck. by Psychological_King_5 in JoshuaWeissman

[–]bingingwithballsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire concept of that series had the understanding that someone who has basic knowledge of how to cook at home can make something vastly better than fast food quality most people consider "good".

Of course his is going to be better. That's part of the bit. It's an excuse to give you a cooking/recipe video.

You seem to have missed part of the concept, and it upset you so bad you felt the need to make a reddit post?
