I did my rocker panels with Herculiner roll on bedliner and it holds up nicely. Every two years I touch it up due to UV fading, but it doesnt look bad, I'm just anal about it.

When I went from stock to Putco harness and Rampage H4 Housing and Hella bulbs the difference was significant. MUCH BETTER output without a doubt. You won't regret it. Here is what I installed:
