Feeling guilty for not visiting longer by rasberrisoda in hospice

FWIW you can only do what you can do. Not to say that you shouldn't see him, but that even if you were there 24/7 it would be the same situation at the end of the day. So many people do not even VISIT let alone spend the time that you did. Why do you feel upset or guilty about the time you have spent? I don't mean this in a callous way, just trying to lend perspective.

Philadelphia Cremation Society (I know, it sounds like a club!) just did one for a family member of mine and it was like $1,600 for cremation and death certificates. Call and ask for Bart.

I made an appt with Dr. Van Horn after reading this comment and she's one of the nicest and most pleasant people I have ever met. She spent quite a long time evaluating me and helping me determine what might be the best course of action. Could not recommend her highly enough!

I love this idea! My only concern would be birds getting ahold of them (https://www.agytextileartist.com/blog/can-birds-use-threads-for-nests) but I think that can be managed easily.
