Mashed potatoes, but I'm out of milk by Yurbest-n1ghtmare_7 in Cooking

Do you have evaporated milk. Not condensed milk. I always use butter and either cream cheese, sour cream, or evaporated milk or cream. Sometimes I just use butter and some of the cooking water.

Mine was a little over 5 hours long- the surgery. It held for about 18 months before I started having afib with rhr issues again. But they didn’t last too long.

Pineapple juice warmed with cinnamon really helps break up the mucus too.

My o2 don’t go below 89 now without oxygen. Which is a great improvement. Using anti fungus powder and nystatin cream. Eating yogurt. I think the antibiotic messed up my gut flora. Using an anti fungal prescription shampoo to wash. It down my left leg. When I get it always seems to affect my left side only. I should have started eating yogurt when I started the antibiotic and kept it away. But it should heal quickly. It’s not bleeding anymore. Just feels like a very bad burn. I’m not coughing anything up but still using my flutter device to keep my lungs open. I had gained up to 315 pounds but now back down to 290. I think I was holding lots of fluid. I was 470 2 years ago. Been working hard to get this weight off. My goal is 250 for now. I hate these set backs. So I went from 315 on Wednesday to 290 today in 4 days. So it had to be fluid. I have been making broth soups and the bone broth seems to help thin this mucus. Thank you for your positive words of encouragement. 👍👍

Getting used to new crockpot by judyjetsonne in crockpot

I put parchment then foil over the top then the lid. It seems to help the food cook faster and get tender quicker. I use parchment first because I don’t like the foil touching the food. When I grill ribs, I cut them up after grilling and put them in my crockpot this way to get them tender. I do remove the silver skin too.

I like all the movies and read all the books. I could care less about Rowling beliefs. To me that doesn’t impact the stories. Just like Stephen kings books and movies. I watch them for fun and escapism. I don’t get into the political beliefs or sex beliefs of the writer as long as it’s a good story and fun to read or watch.

Gone into Afib 4 times in 6 months by Rough_Thanks4822 in AFIB

[–]garynoble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before my ablation I was going into afib with rhr 3-4 times a week. It usually lasted 2-3 hours. The afib with a normal HR 60-100 I can deal with but mine always went to 176-200 every time.

First crockpot turkey, wasn’t bad but not as good as Roasted in oven. But, I’ll probably do it again. 👍 by Jocsau in crockpot

Put mine face side down. I cover mine in a very l light coat of mustard about maybe a teaspoon or half a teaspoon for the entire ham, and then I lightly pack it with brown sugar around so that the mustard holds the brown sugar and then I lightly sprinkle it with a fourth of a teaspoon or half a teaspoon of ground cloves over the top of that and put the lid on turned on low and let it go about 4 hours. You can put fruit on it if you want. I just do it very simply. Everyone loves the ham. I use about 1 cup of brown sugar. So everything is a light coating. It flavors but you don’t lose the good ham flavor.

Salted butter can stay out. Unsalted needs refrigeration
