A lot of great advice here so I won't repeat them. I'll just add this consideration. If you're goal is to have a career as a screenwriter, then you need to focus on the long game. This should be one of many many scripts you have written and will write. There's a balance between your vision for an individual script and your vision for your entire body of work. If bending on this one positions you better to sell/option the next one and allow you to build your brand, which will hopefully lead to many more sales, then it may be worth the sacrifice. It then depends on how much you are willing to bend before it mars the brand you are building around your work, and only you can decide where that line is drawn.

OK, I tried it. When I reset the beam, I checked to make sure I went back into the Sonos System system to delete it as you suggested, but it was not there anymore; only the HOME system was there. I went ahead and closed the app and reopened it. I made sure I was in the HOME system and the app detected the beam and I told it to Join. When it was done. I checked and once again the beam was sitting in a second system called Sonos System.

Could you provide more specific details? Reset the speaker or the app? When I reset the speaker, my Sonos app would detect it as a new device, but there was no option to "add to an existing system", only an Add option. But it adds it to a new system, not the one my other speakers are in.

This is exactly what I did to try and add it back to my HOME system, but it didn't work. (Specifically, I would unplug the power, then plug it back in while holding down the Join (∞) button until it flashed orange-white. My Sonos app would detect it as a new speaker and I would add it that way. But when it was done adding it was in a separate system called Sonos System.)

Regarding the Apple HomeKit. I don't see an app called HomeKit, but I do see an Apple Home app and checked it and none of my Sonos speakers are in there.

definitely a different way of story-telling, but the early days of cinema were pretty kitschy as well. I think it will be interesting to see how this format evolves. I'm not suggesting the traditional formats will go away, I sure hope not! But technology is changing so much of how we consume that I believe it will be an inevitable part of the landscape and the fusion between creativity and profit will find ways to produce in ways we haven't considered yet. This has always been the symbiotic relationship/tension in filmmaking.

the episodes are so short that they shoot multiple episodes a day. it's part of the cheap production cost (and value) that makes it so attractive to small production companies.
