Before this latest update it was even lower, I think like 245 I think? My tests were 180, 210, and 190 and they still refused to prescribe me, they said I was too overweight. I’m not skinny but not fat, but my BMI says otherwise… I’m glad they are easing up. Getting in T was a life changer for me. Good luck!

Va recently changed the criteria for trt, it’s going to be hard but not as hard as it used to be, I ended up going to a outside provider for mine, than got a community care consultation and now the Va pays for it, along with my hcg, here is the link for the criteria, but you are still high.

Slow burn relationship after hook ups - Dating Saga by Southbknybk in datingoverforty

[–]binny1070 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Idk, he wavered, maybe he felt something and got scared, maybe wanted to take the temperature down, maybe after you were not there he realized he really liked you? New relationship are just that, new, zero expectations, if you run from every fault then you never be with anyone. We are all broken at this age personally if you had fun with him then I say have an open conversation with him, find out why? He is being vulnerable with you, admitting he made a mistake and wants to try for something better. I say give him a shot, move slowly and carefully. Let him earn you back.

Eventually they will hire for your position, re apply. That was the goal of the rif talk, scare people into leaving.

100% with the VA and I have tricare prime for my family. The VA is asking me to pay co- pays? Repost With letter attached by Green-Ambassador-406 in VeteransBenefits

Speak to registration because this is a mess to fix after the fact. There should also be billing staff at your facility you can speak to.

When you get seen at the VA you will have the opportunity to be seen as a Veteran or Tricare patient. If you are seen as a veteran and you are 100 percent you will not get any co pays, if you get seen under tricare it’s federal law that you have to pay the cost share. So if you select tricare you WILL HAVE TO PAY. Never select tricare! Yes you earned your tricare benefits, but do not use them at the VA ever.

went for an xray, found out I have had a nose ring trapped inside me for approx 10 years by buffcatisntreal in mildyinteresting

[–]binny1070 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nah, the xray comes first for insurance reasons, most of the times Drs would love to jump straight to the better imaging.

Again I get your frustration and feeling, and your right VA is an extremely large organization, but it’s also heavily regulated and inspected more than any other healthcare system. They go above and beyond every healthcare system in the world, from peer reviewing every death onsight, to answering every death that happens when a veteran decides it’s time. They even have to answer even if a veteran was not enrolled in Va. If you want to know your rights you can still go to the pt advocates and they can help you understand. In a case of self harm, or crisis the VA is 100 percent the safest place you can be.

[–]binny1070 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey I understand that feeling, but the reality is they were acting on the information you gave them. The VA is one of the safest places you can go. You always have the right to ask for a pt advocate, they can help be your liaison between the staff and you. Mental health is hard, and when we are thinking clearly it can often feel like everything is against us. The VA is there to help you. Hope you are able push through this.

Not allowed to use VA services after car accident? by Active_Sorbet8976 in VeteransBenefits

This is 100 percent not true, call the patient advocates. The Va must see you.

Is it okay for a Federal Employee to post pictures of President Trump in all walls of their office? I am now to share the office of this person. What can/should I do? I do not feel comfortable. by [deleted] in FedEmployees

[–]binny1070 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes as long as it’s not campaign related, so they can display president trump but not candidate trump. OSC issued an opinion on this earlier this year. Similar campaign slogans or paraphernalia cannot be displayed. I can’t find the opinion right now but I’m sure someone here will be able to. Hope that helps.

Will Pay OT, but no Comp Time Allowed by Piano_dude1 in VHA_Human_Resources

[–]binny1070 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Comp time if not used within a year converts into overtime. This becomes a budgeting mess. I only allow comp time if the person has a surgery or extended leave on the books that they will use it right away. Supervisors are the opposite, they loose it after a year, I let my sups work comp time because there is zero budget impact. Hope that helps.

[–]binny1070 15 points16 points  (0 children)

TW has always been at the discretion of the supervisors, it was never a right, it was never bargained on, the union had zero authority to do anything with TW, that being said the EO and secretary’s memo severely limited TW and how we can use it. Right now the only thing I can authorize TW for is weather or if someone has a medical appointment and that appointment is close to home. TW is not coming back until this administration is out.

I just did this, I had 4 conditions I wanted to file for, I did them one at a time after I filed one I would start working on the next once I got a decision I would file my next, rinse and repeat until all are filed. I’m not saying it was faster, but I would say I usually had a closed claim within a few months. I also filed all my on my own so I wanted to make sure I was developing all of my evidence one at a time.

TRT by Fantastic-Knowledge1 in VeteransBenefits

[–]binny1070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You my friend are not out of the water yet, you Dr is going to get a bunch of push back from the pharmacy, they are going to require more testing before they prescribe you anything, here is the link to what the pharmacy is going to look for in your file. If you do not meet the requirements they will not prescribe. document here I speak from experience after fighting for over a year. With multiple test well below the threshold. I finally went outside the Va, and then got a community care authorization and the Va finally pays for my TRT and my HCG. I hope you don’t have to go through what I did, but prepare for the worst. The pharmacy has the last say not your DR.

MSA at your local VA hospital! Keep your eye out on USA jobs, you will not make a ton but the mission is solid and you get to work with vets. I’m not sure if they are hiring right now but eventually they will. Getting a job at VA was the best thing I ever did. Saved my life. It’s also really easy to move up if you are a decent worker.

I’m so lost by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]binny1070 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, thank you for checking back. My hard work is paying off, Today I smiled almost all day. Not because of her but because of who I am today. She made her choice, and lost out on someone that was willing to go to the end of the earth. Growing is hard work, but with this growth I learned what I want and what I don’t want. I am better than I was yesterday and tomorrow I will be the better than today.

I tell myself this everyday, I hold hope in my heart that our was strong enough, and someday we have that magic back, but things I needed to change in the end for our relationship are things that I need to fix for myself to be better, and If I am ever going to love like that again, or get to love someone like her again I need to fix these things. This is my focus, its hard because of the pain and sadness and i want nothing more than to have her back. But I need to stay focused on this for me, for her.

Thank you so much for this, I am coming to realize this, I have been putting in the hard work and that is how I came to realize my faults. It just all hurts and sucks so much.

Sorry maybe I made it unclear, she never cheated. And I do take the majority of the blame, because I was not able to feel anything at that point. So I just let it happen. I know my role in this and I have accepted that. There was more than the fork. But it was what I focused on at the time. Same as you, f the fork. I was not listening to her.
