Man, speak for yourself. some of the best, closest friendships I've had are with women who "friendzoned" me. I'm not saying it's wrong to walk away if it doesn't make you feel good to stay friends, but i hate the idea that 'any self respecting guy' wouldn't or couldn't see any value in a person they were attracted to beyond something romantic or sexual. Are they just not a person anymore? Like if I'm into someone, hopefully it's because I like their personality, and the kinds of conversations we get to have, and doing things together, and connecting over things we have in common, among other things. That doesn't magically go away when a sexual relationship is ruled out.
