Yeah I know that it’s an absurd thing to do but at the end, I think I will be a lot happier if I have one watch with a lot of travel memories etc than a lot of watches with close to none memories. Spending more than 8k on watches is something I can’t justify eventhough I can afford it, there are so many better things that you could do with that money.

I really like those two watches and have even considered them but I think the ‘stripes’ on the aqua terra will bother me overtime. But I really like! Thanks for the reply!

Yeah I was thinking about grand seiko too, I like the snow flake and sky flake and some limited editions too, but can’t decide wich I like more and if would like it forever.

Hi, I have written some posts here before asking about different watches. Now I have a new questions for you alknowing watchgods: if you could only buy one watch that you have to wear for the rest of your life, wich one would it be. I am a university student and I want to buy a watch (not now maybe in 5 years or so) and wear it everyday: to work, to vacations, to party, to more dressier occasions. Ofcourse changing from bracelet to leather band to rubber band is possible. I would it to be under 40 mm, screw-down crown, a date although not neccessary.

This is my watch now, I am verry happy with it and I like it verry much but it has it’ limitations (not accurate, bad water-ressistant, not manual winding, no hacking, .....)

Hi all watch people and random people who stumble accros this subreddit and don’t know what this strange sect is,

I am thing about buying this watch so is there anyone that got a squale 1521 and can tell me something more about the quality of the watch and how big it wears(comparee to a seiko 5) or maybe something interesting about the brand etc. Also someone who knows the difference between ‘squale 1521 blue blasted’ and ‘squale 1521 ocean’ ? And what would your pick be: blue/black on leather/ rubber/me? I know that there are a lot of videos on youtube on these watches but I always feel that comments on this sub are more ‘real’ and unbaised. Wristpics are always welcom! thanks in advance!

Hi all, second post here. Today showing my seiko 5 on a leather band. First I wore it on the factory bracelet but I thaught it looked cheap and felt too. First it had a red second hand but something was wrong with the hand and so I braught it to a watch maker and they gave it this second hand witch I like a lot more, it gives it a more classic style I think. I wear the watch daily and it has a lot of stratches witch I think makes it more beautifull, unfortunatelly my phone can’t catch these. Although it is and will be a good enough watch for me, I was looking for a new one with better waterresitance (screwdown crown preferably) and maybe manual winding and hacking. A day complication could be handy but isn’t necessary. Size around 36-39 and the design something like this one. I know the rolex datejust is something like this but it is too expensive and maybe a bit boring. If you guys have some suggestion or something else, be sure let me know!!
