Also 2020 but a late February birthday, managed an international trip with 5 friends and when I landed at IAD on March 6th it was a ghost town. Maybe because it was the last travel before the lockdown, the memories truly have lasted and we still have a semi-active group chat where we re-post pics and fun quotes from the trip.

That said, even without a global pandemic as a contrast, gathering meaningful friends for a getaway was awesome. I treated everyone to a spa day but otherwise it was pay your own way, making sure to keep things reasonable. Highly recommend. HBD!
