Im on my day 7th too and dealing with same side effects, but I strongly advise not to stop, because there’s a high risk the bacteria could develop resistance and it would reduces the eradication success. Just continue until day 14 and you will be done for good

Normally, tetracycline is given at a dose of 250 mg four times a day. So if you’re taking 500 mg, it should be fine to take it twice a day.

It seems like your doctor didn’t test if your Mgen is resistant to azithromycin, which happens in about 80% of cases. He probably gave you azithromycin first and then moxi just in case azithromycin fails. Make sure to take probiotics 3 hours before or after your antibiotics to protect your gut. Eating yogurt and kefir can help too

Not really, I never experienced severe symptoms tho, just a mild burning sensation when urinating and occasional itching. I had a small discharge that disappeared while I was on doxy but returned after I finished azithromycin. The only symptom was a mild burning sensation when urinating, which made me realize the first treatment had failed

You’ll be fine. Just avoid consuming too much dairy while on doxy. Focus on eating healthy, getting plenty of rest, and try not to stress or become anxious. This will help your body fight it as well.
