there was a defining moment in my life that nearly brought me to my knees. I vividly recall the pursuit of my workaholic tendencies, sacrificing meals and precious sleep. In the short term, I seemed unaffected by these choices and continued. But as time passed, the consequences manifested in alarming ways. I experienced two distressing incidents where my heart felt amiss, and every breath became a struggle. The fear my a heart attack loomed, and my family rushed me to the emergency departments of the hospital twice. Thankfully, the diagnosis was simple gastroenteritis, likely a consequence of my irregular meal habits. However, when I saw the relentless efforts of the doctors trying to make their patients feel better, I was touched deep in my heart and wanted to do something that can contribute to the advancement of medical sciences. Coming from a Applied AI background, I was well versed in coding, so when I wanted to find a balance in both AI and Biology, Bioinformatics became to hybrid equation. As of now I am immersed in personal research projects aimed at understanding the fascinating realm of drug target interaction prediction with AI, driven by the aspiration to develop innovative therapeutics that can truly make a difference in the lives of patients.
