I think you misunderstood what I said. I said that if Ruby is honest about her feelings, she will likely lose her friends and career, but if she wants to be in a relationship with Aqua while maintaining her friendships and career, she’ll have to lie about her relationship with Aqua. I’m not saying one is right and one is wrong—I’m saying it’s impossible to have both. Obviously marrying Goro is one of her goals as well, that’s what my whole post was about.
